Shires Income PLC hosted an online presentation on Tuesday 25th June 2024. This online event took the form of a short introduction from the Chair, Robert Talbut, followed by a more detailed presentation from the portfolio manager, Iain Pyle. The Company’s investment objective is to provide shareholders with a high level of income, together with the potential for growth of both income and capital from a diversified portfolio substantially invested in UK equities but also in preference shares, convertibles and other fixed income securities.
Investment managers Iain Pyle and Charles Luke have managed Shires Income since May 2018, following the quality focussed process and philosophy of the 15 strong UK equities team at abrdn (one of the best resourced UK equity teams in the industry).
